The HS CARES Program at Parkland CARES Food Pantry is designed specifically for high school students (ages 14 and older) who want to make a meaningful impact in their community.

HS CARES participants play an active role in the day-to-day operations of our Pantry. Students take on real responsibilities that directly support families in need.

Participation in HS CARES qualifies for community service hours — often required for high school graduation, honor societies, clubs, and scholarship applications.
Students will receive documented volunteer hours for their time served.
The HS CARES Program is an excellent opportunity for students who want to strengthen their college applications, fulfill service requirements, and make a tangible difference.
We welcome motivated high school students, ages 14 and older, who are ready to serve.
